  • Hour of Code - One hour coding lessons for all ages. No account needed.
  • Imagineering in a Box - Developed by Khan Academy and Disney, the series offers 32 videos in which Imagineers share how they use a wide range of skills to create immersive experiences.
  • Khan Academy - Online courses in a variety of subjects. You will need to create an account to get started.
  • NASA - STEM activities and resources for grades K-12.
  • Scholastic Learn at Home - Day-by-day projects to keep you reading, thinking and growing. No account needed.
  • Science Buddies - Hands-on science projects for STEM learning at home. You will need to create an account to get started.

  • Smithsonian Distance Learning - Distance learning videos for grades 3 to 8.

  • Just For Kids - A comic for kids that explores the new coronavirus.
  • KidLit TV - Enjoy kids' TV and radio shows, craft projects, and stories.
  • Read, Wonder, and Learn - Do you miss your favorite librarian from Story Time? Check out Read, Wonder, and Learn with beloved authors and illustrators sharing their work with listeners!
  • Scholastic Teachables - This online database of printable resources offers unlimited access to award-winning activities and printable skills sheets, lesson plans, clip art, games and other resources for teaching kids grades Pre-K to 8.
  • Storyline Online - Famous performers and musicians reading beloved picture books.

  • Big List of Podcasts for Little Kids – Using any podcast app you can listen to some great shows to keep kids ages 2 to 6 occupied.
  • Center for Puppetry Arts @ Home – Enjoy workshops, museum tours, and puppet shows from your home for FREE! Must download Zoom from the website.
  • Cosmic Kids Yoga- Yoga, stories and some of your favorite pop culture characters like Harry Potter or Elsa, what's not to love? 
  • Drawing Workshops - Join author and illustrator Jarrett Krosoczka for live drawing workshops weekdays at 1 p.m. starting Monday, March 16. 
  • Go Noodle - Movement and mindfulness videos created by child development experts. No account needed.
  • Google Earth - Explore destinations all over the world. Take a virtual tour of a museum, climb a mountain, or dive in an ocean. Google Earth has tremendous resources for curious students! 
  • Google Arts and Culture - A collection of more than 500 different museums and galleries to visit virtually.
  • HowtoToon- Live cartooning classes beginning Wednesday, March 18 at noon. 
  • Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems - Draw, doodle, and write with author and illustrator Mo Willems weekdays at noon.
  • Maker Stations - Using materials you have around your house, challenge yourself to make something like a catapult or marble maze.
  • Milwaukee Zoo Webcam - Cameras are installed at many of the zoo's exhibits including fish, tigers, penguins and more. 
  • My Name is Benjamin Coloring Sheets - Author Bobby Claeys offers free coloring sheets from his book My Name Is Benjamin. Must create a free account.
  • NASA Images - NASA made their entire collection of images, sounds, and video available and publicly searchable online.
  • Paris Museums Collections - A collection of 14 museums in Paris have recently made high-res digital copies of 100,000 artworks freely available to the public.
  • - Kids podcasts, audio stories, music, audiobooks and more. This paid subscription service is now offering a 60 day free trial. You will need to create an account to get started.
  • Planes and Balloons - More than 400 pages of printable worksheets for kindergarten.
  • San Diego Zoo - Take a virtual trip to the San Diego Zoo! 
  • Spanish Story Time - Well-known children's stories translated into Spanish and spoken by a native Spanish speaker. Great for kids... and adults too! Read along in Spanish or English
  • Virtual Tours of 31 National Parks in the U.S. – Google Earth does it again.
