Volunteer Program for Adults
Share your skills, talents, or hobbies with the library, and you will help change lives, including your own! Evergreen Park Public Library Foundation members volunteer to help with fundraising, advocacy, and memorable events that draw people together to celebrate community and share an appreciation for the library and its works. You may want to volunteer for a specific event, or you might want to consider joining one of the following planning committees, which work year round:
Fundraising: Would you like to assist the foundation in raising funds to continue the good works of the library and its staff? Please share your talent with us! We welcome your attendance at our next fundraising committee meeting.
Marketing: Do you have marketing skills that you’d like to share with our foundation? Do you strongly believe in sharing the importance of the library with our community? We would love your participation on our marketing committee.
Technology: Are you a “techie”? Do you have ideas about increasing the effectiveness of the foundation through the use of technology? We welcome all great ideas at our technology committee meetings.
Special Events: The key to a successful community event is its volunteers! Sip ‘n Sample and the Summer Block Party are just two examples of successful past events that raised funds for the library while providing a wonderful community event. Help us with event ideas for next year. Please join us and share your talents!
