Library Mission
The mission of the Evergreen Park Public Library is to acquire, organize, and make accessible to residents of Evergreen Park, services and materials in a variety of formats to meet the cultural, educational, informational, and recreational needs of patrons of all ages. The library places special emphasis on:

• Quality materials and services that encourage and nurture an interest in reading in young people
• Development of the library's collection and staff to assist students of all ages in meeting formal educational objectives
• Providing timely, accurate, and useful information for community residents
