The Oriental Institute Museum is a showcase of the history, art, and archaeology of the ancient Near East (modern Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Sudan, Syria, and Turkey). Agatha Christie and her archaeologist husband, Max lived in the region for many years. The museum is part of the University of Chicago's Oriental Institute, which has supported research and archaeological excavation in the Middle East since 1919. The bus will depart for the return trip to the Library at 12:15 pm. Adults (ages 13 & up) $12.00; Children $8.00; Min. 20/Max 40
